Excessive Facial Hair
We also see patients in clinic with excessive facial hair. This might be due to a simple hereditary tendency with no underlying problem. But if there is any doubt, we might do a blood test to double-check. As treatment we can prescribe a cream containing eflornithine (Vaniqa®) to slow down the hair growth.
If professional laser hair removal is needed, we usually refer patients to one of our colleagues close by.
